Ran as an unsuccessful candidate for local office – Philadelphia Ward Committeeperson. Ran as part of a larger ticket, a precursor to the Riverwards Democrats organization. Collected signatures from near neighbors, made it on the ballot, but came in third place with only the top-two being elected.
